It’s celebration time again, as Kathleen Scott is the latest staff member of Nightingales Golden Care to receive a £500 bonus for loyalty and dedication following ten years continuous service.
Kathleen who joined after ‘retiring’ from her ‘proper job’ has been working for the PA service since she joined in July 2012.
When we delivered Kath her big cheque, she said that she was looking forward to converting it into dollars for spending money on her upcoming holiday.
Nightingales has celebrated its 20th anniversary this year and is pleased to be handing out more and more long service bonuses. Established in 2002, the company attributes its success to the fact that so many staff choose to stay and build strong working relationships with its service users over long periods of time.
Registered Manger Ben Chudley said: “seeing staff get their long service rewards, is a huge cause for celebration. Kath is a brilliant member of staff who makes great bonds with the people she supports and their families. We are lucky to have her, and hope she enjoys that well deserved holiday.
